About The Position
Keystone Human Services is seeking a casual/per diem Direct Support Professional to provide individualized, person-directed support to adults in the areas of intellectual disabilities, mental health, and autism. The role focuses on inclusion and helping people participate fully in their communities. The Direct Support Professional supports a healthy and engaging home setting, teaches and assists with daily living skills, provides personal care assistance, and advocates for the health and wellness of the people supported.
Requirements
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications.
Responsibilities
- Create a healthy and engaging home setting for adults receiving support.
- Teach and assist with daily living skills.
- Assist with personal care.
