Intellectual Disability - Direct Support Professional
About The Position
Key Human Services, a subsidiary of Keystone Human Services, is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized, person-directed support to adults in the areas of intellectual disabilities, mental health, and autism. The work focuses on inclusion and helping build communities where everyone can thrive and participate fully in society. In this role, you will help create a healthy and engaging home setting, teach and assist with daily living skills, provide personal care assistance, and advocate for the health and wellness of the people supported. Full-time, part-time, and casual/per-diem hours are available. Pay is $20.75 per hour for full-time or part-time work and $20.50 per hour for casual/per-diem work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license and daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications.
Responsibilities
