Intellectual Disability- Direct Support Professional
About The Position
Keystone Human Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized, person-directed support to adults with intellectual disabilities. The organization’s work also supports people in the areas of mental health and autism, with a focus on inclusion and building communities where everyone can thrive and participate fully in society. In this role, you will help create a healthy and engaging home setting, teach and assist with daily living skills, provide personal care, and advocate for the health and wellness of the people supported. The position is offered full time, part time, and casual/per diem, with varied first- and second-shift schedules; rotating weekends may be available or included depending on schedule. Full-time overnight Monday–Thursday shifts of 10 hours are also available. Pay is $20.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications.
