About The Position
Merakey is seeking mission-driven, compassionate, and reliable individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Coraopolis, PA. This role is ideal for those with experience as a Caregiver, Direct Care Worker, or Home Health Aide, as well as individuals looking to start a meaningful career in human services. No prior experience is required as paid training is provided. As a DSP, you will work alongside a passionate team to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build independence, develop skills, and navigate daily living activities. You will be a mentor, coach, and advocate, making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have a Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
- Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills
- Provide community support and transportation
- Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained)
- Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs
