About The Position

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual and developmental, and physical disabilities. The goal is to empower people to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect. The role includes hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance, while supporting individuals’ comfort, safety, and personal growth. Duties also include housekeeping and laundry, and helping with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene. Multiple shifts are available. The position pays $15.75 per hour and offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be comfortable driving to transport persons served as required.
• Some positions or locations may require a personal vehicle and auto liability insurance.

• Computer skills for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with disabilities.
• Offer hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Support individuals’ comfort, safety, personal growth, dignity, and independence.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Assist with daily living tasks, including mobility, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Transport persons served as required.
• Document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with internal and external team members.
