About The Position
Join Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health for a job fair on May 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Taylor Salem Building, 139 Leopard Rd, Berwyn, PA, 19312. On-the-spot interviews will be conducted. This role involves making a positive impact on the lives of adults served by Devereux's Adult Services team, helping to create meaningful and productive lives for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The main campus is located in Berwyn, PA. The dedicated team of over 900 staff, including clinicians, nurses, recreational staff, and direct staff professionals, work towards the common goal of the happiness, self-fulfillment, and social integration of each adult in the community. As a Direct Support Professional, you will assist in daily living activities such as health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation, and documentation, including shift reports, incident reports, and individual progress reports. You will also maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of the individuals served.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required (diplomas acquired outside of the US must be evaluated).
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of human service experience working with children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily living activities, including health and hygiene management, cooking, and cleaning.
- Engage in recreation activities with individuals served.
- Complete documentation, including shift reports, incident reports, and individual progress reports.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of the individuals served.
