About The Position

The Direct Support Professional provides quality care, direction, guidance, and assistance to customers with daily activities, supports their goals and community integration, and helps maintain their safety and well-being. The role also includes documenting each shift’s activities through an online platform and performing other duties as assigned.

This position is listed as Flex 40 in Clarksville, Arkansas. Shifts vary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understand and endorse ICM’s mission and vision.
• Comply with ICM policies, procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with assistance and guidance for daily activities, including bathing, bathroom functions, feeding, menu planning, dressing, grooming, medication, treatments, and housework.
• Help customers make and keep appointments, arrange or provide transportation for errands, and provide companionship.
• Help customers achieve agreed-upon goals that improve quality of life and integration into the community.
• Write daily updates about each shift’s activities using an online platform.
• Observe customers’ conditions and monitor their surroundings, equipment, and materials to support safety and success.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow ICM’s mission, policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures, and seek clarification when needed.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
