About The Position

Clarvida is hiring a full-time Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate, hands-on care to individuals in its residential programs in Pennsylvania. The role empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently and participate in their communities. It is a direct-care position requiring reliability, empathy, and a commitment to service. The position is based in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, and pays $16 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and supervision in a residential setting.
• Support individuals in achieving independence with daily tasks and routines.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Monitor individuals’ health, safety, and well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations and agency policies.
• Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and report concerns to the Program Specialist.
