About The Position
McGuire Memorial is a ministry providing comprehensive services to children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. Direct Support Professionals help individuals live life to the fullest by meeting their daily needs and supporting their health, safety, and participation in activities. The schedule is 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., four days per week, for 24 hours per week, in New Brighton, Pennsylvania. The position pays $18.50 per hour and does not require prior experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license to work in Community Homes.
- Ability to pass a physical and drug screening.
- Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance.
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check.
- FBI Federal Criminal History Record check, including fingerprinting.
- TB testing.
Responsibilities
- Meet individuals’ daily physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Participate in daily social, recreational, and community-based activities.
- Assist with bathing, feeding, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene, and positioning.
- Ensure individuals’ health and safety.
