About The Position

Community Interface Services (CIS), a nonprofit organization that has supported adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1983, is hiring a Direct Support Professional. The role provides individualized, community-based support to adults pursuing personal goals, independence, employment, housing, community living, and personal growth. The position serves individuals throughout the South Bay and Chula Vista areas and is expected to follow a Monday-through-Friday schedule during business hours. Starting pay is $23–$25 per hour, with the opportunity to earn an additional $1 per hour after completing a performance and professional development program. CIS offers ongoing training and professional development, along with a leadership development pathway that may lead to future promotion and compensation opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California driver's license.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
• Reliable vehicle in safe working condition.
• Current vehicle insurance.
