About The Position

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) supports people in reaching personal goals, making choices, and living as independently as possible. The role includes assisting with daily activities, encouraging community involvement, and maintaining a safe, healthy, and clean environment. Paid training is provided, and prior experience is not required. The position is available full-time or part-time in Silver Creek, New York, and surrounding areas, with day, evening, and overnight shifts. Pay starts at $19.00 per hour and increases to $20 per hour after successful completion of a six-month probationary period.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license that meets agency policy.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
• Reliability, patience, and compassion.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for helping others and making a difference.
