Direct Support Professional - Day Support & Community Networking
About The Position
Covenant Case Management Services is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide individualized, one-on-one support to a member in Charlotte, North Carolina (ZIP code 28277). This full-time 1099 independent contractor position works directly with the member Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The role provides Day Support from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and Community Networking from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, helping the member navigate daily routines, build life skills, participate in the community, and develop independence in a safe, supportive environment. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to work as a 1099 independent contractor.
- Valid North Carolina Driver’s License, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a standard background check.

Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on assistance and guidance with daily living activities, routine household tasks, personal development, and skill-building exercises during Day Support.
- Accompany and support the member in community-based activities, volunteering, social interactions, and recreational outings to develop community connections and natural support systems.
- Coordinate with care coordinators and family members to implement care plans, follow safety guidelines, and track progress toward functional goals.
- Communicate clearly and reliably about scheduling, progress, and the member’s well-being.
