Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Full Time
About The Position
GT Independence is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Green Bay, Wisconsin (Brown County). The role supports members in living a life of their choosing, regardless of age or ability. Work takes place in a member’s home, a typical office setting, or other community settings. No experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. Starting pay is $17 per hour, with a quarterly attendance-based bonus program. The position offers flexible working hours, casual work attire, mileage reimbursement at 76 cents per mile, paid drive time between clients, and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid, active driver’s license required.
- Current car insurance with at least liability coverage required.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must provide copies of a driver’s license and car insurance card before hiring.
- Skills include teamwork, multitasking, adaptability, communication, and time management.
- Desired behaviors include patience, compassion, attentiveness, reliability, responsibility, and accountability.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certificate welcome.
- No experience is required; training will be provided to the right person.
