About The Position

Mozaic is seeking a Day Hab Without Walls Direct Support Professional for its Community Habilitation program in Auburn, New York. Staff help individuals become more actively engaged in their communities by offering opportunities to build connections, develop independence, and enhance daily living skills. Community Habilitation provides skill-building activities such as cooking classes to promote meal preparation skills, and assistance with attending medical appointments, managing finances, and improving cleaning and organizational abilities. The program also plans recreational outings to encourage social engagement and community participation, including trips to the zoo, museums, amusement parks, theater performances, and movies. The position is community based and pays $17.92–$18.67 per hour, based on experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with some planned evenings and weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities, or an associate degree in human services or a related field.
Valid driver's license.
