About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable In-Home Caregiver to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes. The role supports clients with activities of daily living and provides ongoing monitoring to help ensure they receive appropriate care. The successful candidate will communicate effectively and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. CPR certification is required. This is a part-time position in the Worcester area.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a caregiver or in a related field.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans.
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility, as needed.
- Dependable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Assist with medication management and administration as directed by a healthcare professional.
- Monitor clients' vital signs and report changes to the appropriate manager.
- Communicate with clients and families to provide education and support.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
