About The Position

Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional to provide quality, empathetic care to adults with brain injuries and to people with autism or intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role focuses on helping residents build daily living skills and independence through personalized care plans, while creating a supportive community and communicating with residents, families, and guardians. The position is located in Voorhees, New Jersey, in the Adult Brain Injury - Residential department, and is listed as flex schedule.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Have the ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Have a current driver's license in good standing.
• Have a strong desire to work with autistic and/or intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
