About The Position

Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional for its Adult Brain Injury – Residential department in Voorhees, New Jersey. The role supports people with autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or neurological rehabilitation needs. Direct Support Professionals provide quality care in a positive and empathetic manner and help residents build independence and daily-living skills through personalized plans of care. The schedule is described as flexible, and the hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44.

The position involves working closely with a supportive team and communicating with residents, families, and guardians. The work can be physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging, and weekend availability is required. Bancroft describes itself as a care team of 2,700 employees across more than 200 facilities and homes in New Jersey and Delaware.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Have the ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Have a current driver's license in good standing.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
