Direct Support Professionals Wanted
About The Position
Complete Human Services NJ LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate, person-centered in-home and community-based support to people with autism and/or intellectual or developmental disabilities and their families. The organization is an approved New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) provider and offers services including community inclusion, respite, transportation, and individual supports. Positions serve Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, and Cumberland Counties, in the In-Home and Community Based Supports department. The schedule is varied and PRN, with an hourly rate of $18.00–$22.25.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have a current driver's license in good standing.
- Have the ability and willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Have a strong desire to work with autistic and/or intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals and their families.
- Provide quality care in a positive and empathetic manner.
Responsibilities
- Empower adults to develop and learn skills for daily life.
- Encourage individuals’ independence through personalized Individual Support Plans.
- Encourage community integration.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and guardians.
