About The Position
Direct Support Professional - 11pm-7am Shift There are only part-time or split shift positions available for the 11pm-7am at this time Are you ready to make a positive impact working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities? If you answered YES to either of these questions, then consider joining our Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health team! Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pocono Center provides programs and services for adults with developmental disabilities. Located in Newfoundland, PA, this position is responsible for assisting individuals with activities of daily living and promoting growth in the areas of functional skills, personal needs, communication, and personal adjustment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Drivers License required
- Complete required new hire orientation class
- Possess a valid license
- Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches

Responsibilities
- Provide safe and appropriate care for all Pocono Center residents
- Be responsible for supervision of residents and seeing that their physical, emotional and personal needs are met
- Assist in hygiene tasks such as showering or toileting
- Support individuals throughout daily routine, including joining them in community outings
- Attend in-service training programs to develop skills
- Perform related duties, special assignments and projects as assigned by coordinator

- Competitive Pay: $18.00–$20.52/hr based on experience, education, and shift
