About The Position
Merakey is hiring a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The role involves helping people build independence, develop social and communication skills, and navigate daily living activities. You will work alongside a team and serve as a mentor, coach, and advocate. No experience is required; paid training is provided. The listed pay rate is $16.25 per hour, with up to $18.25 per hour available through the Enhanced Pay option. The available schedule is a double weekend shift.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.
- No experience is required; paid training is provided.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Support life-skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
- Provide community support and transportation.
- Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support as trained.
- Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
- Help individuals build independence and develop social and communication skills.
- Support individuals in pursuing personal goals and participating in community activities.
