About The Position

Merakey is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Greensburg or Jeannette, Pennsylvania. DSPs help individuals build independence, develop social and communication skills, and participate in daily living activities and community engagement. The role is PRN and pays $17 per hour. Available shifts include daylights, evenings, overnights, and weekends. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided.

PRN/FFS team members have access to select employee resources, with program eligibility varying according to employment status and hours worked.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support and transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support as trained.
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
• Help individuals build independence and develop social and communication skills.
• Support daily living activities, housekeeping, and community engagement.
• Act as a mentor, coach, and advocate while helping individuals pursue personal goals.
