Hiring Event: Direct Support Professionals | Augusta, GA
About The Position
United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for its residential and day center programs in the Augusta area. DSPs support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living more independent, fulfilling lives. The position pays $17 per hour on every shift and includes paid training from the first day, including CPR/First Aid and Mindset training, as well as nurse-led medication training before the first shift. Full-time employees receive free healthcare after 90 days of employment. Schedules may be full-time, part-time, floater, or PRN. The hiring event offers interviews and potential offers on the spot and will take place Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM at Courtyard by Marriott, 1045 Stevens Creek Rd., Augusta, GA 30907. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Hold a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Demonstrate compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs., with or without accommodation.
- Have CPR/First Aid certification or be willing to obtain it through provided training.
- Pass a drug screen and a fingerprint/background check through DBHDD, and have a clean MVR.

Responsibilities
- Help people with personal care and daily living activities.
