About The Position

Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Back End Nights Webster City, IA [Schedule Example: Wednesday Night - Friday Nights Starting at $17.00/hr Average Weekly Earnings: $714/week ($19.83/hr average based on 36 hours) More Time Off. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs
• Comfortable using computers and electronic documentation systems
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Willingness to complete required training and certifications

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to live independently in their home
• Assist with shopping, cooking, and managing daily routines
• Accompany individuals to appointments and community activities
• Help individuals build confidence and life skills
• Support individuals in experiencing new opportunities and meaningful moments
• Support medication administration and health-related needs
• Complete electronic documentation and service notes
• Assist with household routines and daily living activities
• Respond to behavioral or emergency situations using provided training
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with the individuals you support
