Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs.
  • Comfortable using computers and electronic documentation systems.
  • Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings.
  • Willingness to complete required training and certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living independently, building confidence, and experiencing meaningful moments every day.
  • Help individuals live independently in their home.
  • Assist individuals with shopping, cooking, and managing daily routines.
  • Accompany individuals to appointments and community activities.
  • Help individuals build confidence and life skills.
  • Support individuals in experiencing new opportunities and meaningful moments.
  • Support medication administration and health-related needs.
  • Complete electronic documentation and service notes.
  • Assist with household routines and daily living activities.
  • Respond to behavioral or emergency situations using provided training.
  • Build positive, meaningful relationships with the individuals you support.
