About The Position

The DSP Floater position involves supporting and caring for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in residential programs located in Warren & Washington Counties, NY. Responsibilities include assisting individuals with daily living activities such as getting ready for the day or bed, cooking, cleaning, medication assistance, and participating in community social/recreational activities. The role emphasizes making a positive difference while having fun.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Have a valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
  • No experience necessary

Responsibilities

  • Support and care for people with intellectual or other developmental disabilities.
  • Assist individuals with getting ready for the day or going to bed.
  • Assist with cooking and cleaning.
  • Provide medication assistance.
  • Participate in social/recreational activities in the community.
