About The Position

The Residential Direct Support Professional provides hands-on assistance to individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities. Support includes daily living activities, meal preparation and planning, household maintenance, money management, personal care, and grocery shopping. The role also involves planning and coordinating activities at home and in the community, while helping individuals stay engaged, independent, and connected to their communities. The position is offered full-time and part-time at $20.84 per hour. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Valid, full driver's license.
- At least two years of driving experience.
- Clean driving record with fewer than two points.
- Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities
- Assist individuals in working toward and achieving their established goals.
- Observe, track, and document individual progress.
- Administer medications as required.
- Provide mobility assistance throughout the home, including helping individuals move between rooms.
- Assist with laundry and housekeeping and maintain a clean living environment.
- Encourage and respect individuals’ preferences, decisions, and personal choices.
- Provide transportation for community activities and outings based on individual interests and preferences.
- Remain flexible while individuals attend day programs, including providing transportation to medical appointments or additional support when an individual becomes ill.
- Support daily living activities, meal preparation and planning, household maintenance, money management, personal care, and grocery shopping.
- Plan and coordinate activities inside the home and throughout the community.
