About The Position
Wildwood Programs is a provider of educational, residential, employment, and other community-based supports to people with disabilities and their families. We hire those dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives. We are looking for caring, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work full time in a Residential setting. The DSP Floater will provide coverage to residences throughout the Capital Region. We need someone who is willing meet and learn about a variety of different people, and travel to where they are needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A valid NYS license and clean driving record required
- Ability to lift 50lbs

Responsibilities
- Provide coverage to residences throughout the Capital Region.
- Meet and learn about a variety of different people.
- Travel to where they are needed.
- Assist individuals in activities such as cooking, doing laundry, running errands.
- Teach people with disabilities how to do things on their own.
- Take individuals to appointments and activities.
- Write notes as needed.
- Help individuals with tasks like cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping, and managing money.
