About The Position

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join their team at their program in Marlton, NJ. This role involves encouraging, mentoring, and coaching individuals to achieve their goals, fostering pride by teaching daily living activities like housekeeping and laundry. The work is performed in accordance with appropriate procedures under the supervision of the House Manager. The DSP will enhance independence by assisting with daily and personal activities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Prefer candidates have their own transportation.
