Direct Support Professional or Personal Care Assistant - White Bear Lake Area
About The Position
Comfort Keepers is hiring part-time weekend caregivers to provide personalized in-home care and support to seniors in White Bear Lake, Hugo, Forest Lake, and nearby communities. The position offers flexible weekend shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, or both. Pay is $18–$21 per hour, plus a $3-per-hour weekend differential, for potential earnings of up to $24 per hour. Caregivers help seniors maintain independence, comfort, and quality of life at home. The role may suit someone seeking a flexible weekend job, additional income, or a caregiving opportunity. Previous caregiving experience is a plus but is not required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Available to work Saturdays, Sundays, or both on a consistent basis.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, Resident Assistant (RA), or Direct Support Staff (DSS).
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
- Offer medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility and fall prevention.
