Direct Support Professional or Caregiver - White Bear Lake Areas
About The Position
Comfort Keepers of Anoka, MN is hiring reliable, compassionate, and dedicated caregivers, PCAs, and direct care professionals to provide in-home support in the White Bear Lake area. Multiple part-time shifts are available, and applicants should indicate which schedules match their availability. Openings include Tuesday 10 a.m.–2 p.m. (driving cares); Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; and Tuesday 9 a.m.–1 p.m. plus Thursday 1–6 p.m. The listed pay range is $18–$24 per hour, with the posting also specifying a base rate of $18–$21 per hour based on experience and a $3-per-hour weekend differential. Eligible direct-care employees may be able to access scholarship support through the Minnesota Department of Health HCBS Employee Scholarship Program for approved CNA, LPN, or RN education expenses. Eligibility requires an average of at least 10 hours of direct-care work per week and meeting program requirements; funding is limited and depends on eligibility, available funds, and approved costs.
Requirements
- Experience as a PCA, DSP, HHA, CNA, caregiver, direct care worker, or in a similar role is welcome.
- Be reliable and compassionate.
- Commit to one or more of the listed schedules.
- For eligibility for the described scholarship program, work in a direct-care role for an average of at least 10 hours per week and meet program requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide dependable in-home support to clients.
- Work one or more of the listed shifts, according to availability.
- Perform driving-related care for the Tuesday 10 a.m.–2 p.m. opening, as applicable.
