About The Position

Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a 14-year-old boy in the Port Byron, NY area. This role involves engaging the individual in community activities, assisting with independent living skills, encouraging new hobbies and activities, and helping to increase physical fitness. The position is for respite services, with hours typically after school and approximately 15 hours per week. We are looking for reliable, patient, enthusiastic individuals who can work independently.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Effective communication and organizational skills required.
• Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
• Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
• Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be completed prior to hire.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
