About The Position

ETTA is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for its Adult Day Program in North Hollywood. This program focuses on education, socialization, and community volunteer activities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The DSPs will assist adults with special needs to live more independent and enriching lives, inspiring and guiding them to realize possibilities, expand horizons, and achieve their goals. ETTA is a respected non-profit organization that has been serving adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1993.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be a licensed driver for a minimum of three years
Must have an insured vehicle with your name listed as an authorized driver
Must be willing to drive with a client in your vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
Must be willing to drive a COMPANY VAN approximately 100 miles per week on the job with multiple clients
Must be willing to commute to North Hollywood
Must be willing to drive your PERSONAL VEHICLE approximately 100 miles per week on the job with a client
Live Scan (DOJ / FBI) background check required

Responsibilities

Assist Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to Live More Independent & Enriching Lives.
Inspire and guide adults of all ages with special needs to realize the possibilities, expand their horizons, and achieve their goals.
Perform "personal hygiene" tasks (including toileting assistance, if occasionally needed).
