About The Position
AHRC New York City is holding a VIRTUAL HIRING EVENT for Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions for their QUEENS ICF Residence. This role involves supporting neurodivergent children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The event is scheduled for Thursday, September 17th, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Specific address details will be provided to qualified candidates.
Requirements
- Must be willing to work weekends.
- Valid NY or Tri-State drivers license for more than one year, in good standing (required for 40hr Day & Evening Shift positions).
- Professionalism, integrity, excellent communication skills.
- Patience is a MUST!
Nice To Haves
- Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support neurodivergent children and adults (those with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and other disabilities).
