About The Position
AHRC New York City is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for their Queens ICF Residence. This role involves supporting neurodivergent children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. AHRC NYC is a large, complex nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals through a broad spectrum of services. Requirements
- Must be willing to work weekends.
- Valid NY or Tri-State drivers license for more than one year, in good standing (required for 40hr Day & Evening Shift positions).
- Professionalism, integrity, excellent communication skills.
- Patience is a MUST!
Nice To Haves
- Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support neurodivergent children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Work various shifts including day, evening, and overnight.
- Weekend availability is needed for most positions.
