About The Position

House of G.R.A.C.E. is seeking mature Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), including drivers, to support individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, complex health conditions, and/or mental health disorders. The DSP provides support, guidance, supervision, and quality assurance while helping make activities enjoyable for the individuals served. The DSP/NMT Driver provides non-medical transportation to work, day supports, volunteer activities, internships, and/or post-secondary education, and supervises individuals in the community. Drivers must have proof of auto insurance and a reliable vehicle for commuting to work and on-shift community driving. The agency seeks professional, flexible, positive, teachable, coachable applicants who are willing to learn and work well with individuals who may display behaviors and/or require total care. Requirements

Must pass a background check.
Must have or obtain First Aid/CPR certification.
Must have initial or annual DSP certification.
Drivers must provide proof of auto insurance and have a reliable vehicle for commuting and on-shift community driving.
Must work well with individuals who may display behaviors and/or require total care.

Responsibilities
