About The Position

Join our team as a Medication Technician DSP and make a difference every day! As a Medication Technician (AMAP), you will safely and accurately dispense medications under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), document medication administration in compliance with state and agency guidelines, monitor individuals for side effects or adverse reactions and report concerns to nursing staff, maintain secure storage and handling of medications, and assist with refills, inventory, and communication with pharmacies as needed. In addition to medication responsibilities, you’ll also provide direct support to the individuals we serve, helping them build independence, engage in daily living activities, and enjoy a higher quality of life. This role is a great opportunity for those interested in nursing, pharmacy, or other healthcare careers, offering hands-on healthcare experience in a supportive environment where you can make a direct impact in the lives of people with developmental disabilities.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years old
  • Valid NYS driver's license with at least 3 years of experience
  • HS Diploma or GED
