About The Position

On Angels Wings and Sonoran Sky, part of the Redwood Family Care Network, provides person-centered home- and community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization’s mission is to provide person-centered services, supports, and advocacy in positive, life-enriching environments, and it takes a zero-tolerance stance on abuse and neglect.

The Direct Service Professional is responsible for the care and supervision of members in a group home. The role includes assisting with daily living skills, behavior management, medication administration, and transporting members in a company van. Driving is required. The position is full-time at the 20th Avenue and Cactus location, with shifts Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. to midnight, Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The hourly rate is $16.75.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience dealing with behaviors such as physical and verbal aggression.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card; assistance obtaining the card is available.
• Valid Arizona driver's license.
• Clean 39-month motor vehicle record.

Nice To Haves

• Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, Prevention and Support, Article 9, and DCW.
• Experience in group homes, DTA, HCBS, or DTT settings.
• Experience as a Direct Support Professional.

Responsibilities
