About The Position

On Angels Wings and Sonoran Sky, part of the Redwood Family Care Network, provides person-centered home and community-based services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Direct Service Professionals care for and supervise group home members, support their daily living skills, manage behaviors, administer medication, and transport members in a company van. Driving is required. The organization emphasizes health and safety and has a zero-tolerance stance on abuse and neglect. This is a full-time position at the group home located at 20th Avenue and Cactus. The hourly rate is $16.75. Scheduled shifts are Wednesday and Thursday, 2 p.m. to midnight; Friday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Applicants are subject to a background check. A person successful in this role would have at least one year of experience dealing with behaviors such as physical and verbal aggression.

Requirements

At least one year of experience dealing with behaviors such as physical and verbal aggression.
High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card; assistance obtaining the card is offered.
Valid Arizona driver's license; driving is required.
Clean 39-month motor vehicle record.

Nice To Haves

Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, Prevention and Support, Article 9, and DCW.
Experience in group homes, DTA's, HCBS, or DTT's.
Experience as a Direct Support Professional.

Responsibilities
