About The Position
Midwest Healthcare & Wellness is a small, locally owned, family-oriented direct primary care practice offering a broad range of services including urgent care, walk-in clinic visits, hormone optimization, wellness treatments, IV therapy, diagnostic labs, telehealth, and wellness memberships. We are a cash-based facility and offer memberships — we believe this allows us to focus on personalized, patient-centered care and to treat our patients like family.
Requirements
- Current Missouri FNP-C licensure (or eligibility for licensure/collaborative practice agreement)
- Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with direct primary care preferred; willingness to learn our model required
- Experience in primary care; experience with hormone therapy or wellness medicine a plus
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort working in a direct-pay/membership-based care model
- Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to work independently under a collaborative practice agreement
Nice To Haves
- DOT certification preferred; willing to obtain if not already certified
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care, urgent care, and walk-in clinic services to a direct-pay patient panel
- Manage hormone optimization and wellness treatment patients per established clinical protocols
- Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret labs, and develop treatment plans
- Evaluate and treat acute/urgent conditions for walk-in patients
- Administer or oversee IV therapy and related wellness services
- Deliver care via telehealth in addition to in-office visits
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation, including use of standardized dot phrases/templates
- Follow practice protocols aligned with AUA and Endocrine Society guidelines (for hormone care)
- Ensure compliance with Missouri nonpharmacy dispensing rules, PDMP requirements, and collaborative practice agreement terms
- Participate in patient triage and provider assessment processes per practice policy
- Provide coverage during scheduled weekend hours
