Direct Channels Fundraiser
About The Position
Join us in creating a better world for animals. At World Animal Protection, we move the world to protect animals. We are looking for an experienced direct fundraiser to help deliver effective campaigns and grow support for our mission across the ANZ market. As Direct Channels Fundraiser, ANZ, you will be our operational fundraising specialist in the market. You will deliver direct mail, telemarketing and other locally managed fundraising activity, working with internal colleagues and external suppliers to ensure campaigns are timely, compliant and effective. This is an opportunity to combine local fundraising expertise with global collaboration, strengthen campaign delivery and contribute practical insight that improves direct fundraising across the organisation.
Requirements
- Significant experience delivering direct fundraising campaigns, including direct mail or telemarketing.
- Strong understanding of campaign planning, production, fulfilment and supporter-response handling.
- Experience managing fundraising suppliers or other operational delivery partners.
- Knowledge of fundraising legislation, regulation and industry codes relevant to the ANZ market.
- Strong stakeholder management, organisation and project-management skills.
- The ability to identify operational issues and implement practical improvements.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering direct mail, telemarketing and other direct fundraising activity in ANZ.
- Adapting global fundraising products so they work effectively within the local market.
- Managing relationships with fulfilment, mailing, telemarketing and other operational suppliers.
- Coordinating campaign production, fulfilment and supporter-response handling to agreed standards.
- Ensuring activity complies with relevant local legislation, regulation and industry codes.
- Monitoring delivery and performance, resolving issues and sharing learning to improve future activity
