About The Position

Sigma HomeCare is hiring full-time and part-time Direct Care Workers to provide one-on-one support to a client in Dearborn and surrounding cities. Caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, PCAs, Personal Care Assistants, and Home Health Aides are welcome to apply. The role involves building meaningful relationships, providing companionship, assisting with daily activities, and helping clients maintain their independence at home. Morning, afternoon, and evening hours are available. Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID.
• Reliable transportation.
• Smartphone with GPS capability.
• Current TB test or willingness to obtain one.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required.
• Experience as a caregiver, CNA, HHA, or PCA.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Prepare light meals and snacks.
• Assist with mobility and provide safety supervision.
• Help with household tasks and organization.
• Accompany clients on walks, errands, or recreational activities.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Document care provided during each shift.
