About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one personal care, household support, and companionship to adults in their homes. The worker follows a written plan of care developed by a registered nurse and helps clients remain safe and independent at home. The listing specifies a female client in Muncy, with shifts on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.; dementia experience is a plus. BAYADA provides training, clinical support, and a larger care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, household support, and companion care according to a written plan of care from a registered nurse.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
