About The Position

Direct Care Staff provide caregiving and direct support to people with developmental goals and complex needs. The role involves helping participants grow, learn, live well, build meaningful relationships, and take part in community activities they enjoy. Staff support goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and assist with personal hygiene. The work may also involve supporting individuals with behavioral challenges. This is a community-based human services role requiring patience, compassion, and reliability. Variety of full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
• Skills in communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time management.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
