About The Position
As a Direct Care Staff (DSP), you will support individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home setting. The role helps people live safe, fulfilling lives while building trusting relationships that encourage independence and personal choice. Marrakech provides person-centered support and advocacy to enhance quality of life and promote independence, with dignity, respect, and meaningful connection at the center. Paid training is provided, and career growth opportunities are available.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Connecticut driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid.

Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living skills, including personal care, meals, and routines.
- Support medical needs and appointments.
- Follow individualized support and behavior plans.
- Encourage community involvement and social engagement.
- Complete routine overnight safety checks for overnight staff.
- Work collaboratively as part of a compassionate, supportive team.
