About The Position

As a Direct Care Professional at Sevita, you will support people with developmental goals and help them grow, learn, and live well. You will build meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve, encourage their participation in the community and favorite activities, and support goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The role includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.

The schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other weekend from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Pay is $16.40 per hour. Sevita describes the work as an opportunity to take initiative, build trust, and contribute to a fulfilling career, with supervisors and training to support employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
