About The Position

As a Direct Care Professional at Sevita, you will help people grow, learn, and live well while developing meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve. You will support participants in pursuing developmental goals, including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and help them take part in their communities and enjoy favorite activities. The role also includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs. This work calls for compassion, patience, reliability, and a commitment to helping participants live fulfilling lives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license held for at least one year after the learner’s permit, with a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.
• Access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health is preferred.
