Direct Care Professional
About The Position
Sevita is hiring a Direct Care Professional to help people grow, learn, and live well. The role involves developing meaningful relationships with the individuals served, supporting their participation in community activities, and helping them work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. You will assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. The listed schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., plus every other Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The advertised pay is $17.30 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
- Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible demeanor.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
