About The Position

AWARE is hiring Direct Care Professionals for its Residential Services in Butte, Montana. The role supports people with disabilities and mental health needs in living the life they choose. Day-to-day work may include helping someone get ready in the morning, preparing meals together, driving to appointments or a job, supporting someone through difficult moments, and documenting the day for the next person on shift. AWARE describes its approach as providing care without conditions attached. The starting rate is $19.00 per hour with no previous experience required. Weekend overnight shifts in Intensive homes pay $28.00 per hour, with night, weekend, and Intensive pay added to the base rate. Employees receive a 5% raise after their first year and another 5% after their second year. Applicants with four years of comparable experience start at $22.23 per hour. AWARE provides training; no degree, certification, or prior caregiving experience is required. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license.
Must pass a background check.
Reliability and ability to show up for scheduled shifts.
Patience with people on difficult days.

Responsibilities

Help people with disabilities and mental health needs with daily activities, such as getting ready in the morning.
