About The Position

City Brew Coffee is hiring a Barista at its Butte, Montana location. Baristas create welcoming guest experiences by providing excellent service, preparing quality beverages and food, and maintaining a clean, organized store. They are expected to demonstrate the company’s SERVE principles—Smile, Engage, Respect, Visible, and Eager—and deliver its three core elements of a great experience: great customer service, clean and organized stores, and great drinks and products. The role includes serving café and drive-through guests, handling cash, supporting team members, and staying composed during busy periods. Other related duties may be assigned as needed. The position requires standing for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, working full shifts, and lifting or carrying supplies and equipment as needed. Prior customer service or food and beverage experience is a plus but is not required. Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a positive, customer-first attitude.
Prepare and promptly serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and food items.
Educate customers about the menu, answer questions, and help them choose drinks.
Consistently demonstrate SERVE principles: Smile, Engage, Respect, Visible, and Eager.
Keep the café clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Handle cash transactions and follow company cash-handling procedures.
Communicate openly with the team and step in where needed.
Maintain a neat appearance, wear the approved dress code, and practice good personal hygiene.
Remain calm and confident during high-volume periods while maintaining excellent service.
Deliver great customer service, a clean and organized store, and great drinks and products every shift.
Take on other related duties as needed to support store operations and customer service.
