About The Position

AWARE is hiring Direct Care Professionals for residential services in Butte, Montana. The role supports people with disabilities and mental health needs to live the lives they choose. Daily work may include helping someone get ready, preparing meals together, driving to appointments or work, supporting them through difficult moments, and documenting the day for the next shift. The work can be emotionally demanding, and AWARE emphasizes care without conditions and treating the people receiving support with dignity. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, with higher pay for relevant experience and additional pay for night, weekend, and Intensive shifts. Four years of comparable work starts at $22.23 per hour; weekend overnight shifts in Intensive homes pay $28.00 per hour. Employees receive anniversary raises of 5% after the first year and another 5% after the second year. AWARE provides training; prior caregiving experience, a degree, and certification are not required. The organization staffs around the clock, with day, evening, overnight, weekend, and weekend-only schedules available. The posting describes full-time, part-time, and weekend-only opportunities.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Have a valid driver's license.
Be able to pass a background check.
Be reliable and arrive for scheduled shifts.
Be patient with people during difficult moments.
